Why Playing with Your Wife’s Private Parts is Halal in Islam
C.J Ahmed-09.04.2023
Playing with your wife’s private parts is completely halal in Islam because foreplay and masturbation is not haram in Islam. Allah (swt) says,
“Your women are a tilth for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilth as ye will, and send (good deeds) before you for your souls, and fear Allah, and know that ye will (one day) meet Him. Give glad tidings to believers” (Al-Quran-2:223)
There are weak and fabricated hadiths which state that looking at the wife’s private parts is haram. One uch hadith is s follows,
Abbas and Abu Hurayrah according to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “When any one of you has intercourse with his wife, let him not look at her private parts, because this causes blindness, and let him not speak, because this causes muteness.”( al-Mawdu’at by Ibn al-Jawzi, 2/271-272- Ibn Jawzi stated that this hadith is a fabricated hadith)
There are several weak and inauthentic hadiths which state that the prophet (sall) never looked at his wife, Aisha (rali)’s private and vice verse. The hadiths are as follows,
A'isha said, “I never looked at (or, I never saw) God’s Messenger’s private parts.” –This hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah and Sheikh Albani graded it daif (weak)
A’isha said:
“I never looked at the private parts of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace).” (Or she said: “I never saw the private parts of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace).”-This hadith was narrated in Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 358 and is a weak narration due to its it’s narrator, Zubair `Aliza'I been weak and this hadith was not narrated directy from Aisha (rali). It was narrated from a slave of Aisha(rali).
Aishah said: "I never looked at (or I never saw) the private part of the Messenger of Allah."(Ibn Majah-This hadith is also weak and one of the narrators Abu Bakr also know as Ibn Abu Shaibah said: "Abu Nu'aim would say: '(From) a freed female slave of 'Aisha (rali) and it wasn’t directly narrated from her. None of the hadiths which state that popeht (sal) neer saw Aisha (rali)’s private is weak and the hadiths are not at all authentic.
There are hadiths which sujjest that prophet (sal) used to bath with Aisha (rali).
Narrated by Hisham bin Urwa on the authority of his father that Aisha said, "I and Allah's Messenger (saws) used to take a bath from a single water container, from which we took water simultaneously."(Bukhari)
Narrated by Aisha, “The Prophet (saws) and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and he (saws) used to fondle me.”(Bukhari)
Touching your wife’s private parts and playing with themis a form of mutual masturbation and masturbation is not haram in Islam. Islam is clearly silent on masturbation and nothing has been authentically narrated of the prophet (sal) prohibiting it. This silence in Islam means that masturbation is something that falls under the category of “Jaiz” which is allowed and permissible.
The below hadith explains this follows:
"The Prophet (sal) said, “Verily Allah has obligated the obligations – so do not neglect them. And He has limited the limits – so do not transgress them. And His silence about things is from His mercy, not forgetfulness, so do not investigate them.”
(Hasan Sahih-Ad-Darqutni No. 4/199 and also Al-Baihaqi No. 10/122).
The above hadith is clear on why masturbation is halal and why we are forbidden from investigating from things which has come as a mercy from Allah (swt) by him being silent. Masturbation falls in to the things in which Islam is silent. This hadith also clearly proves that masturbation is a gift and a mercy from Allah (swt) to ease mankind's sexual desire.
