Why Using Hair Wax is Not Haram In Islam With 7 Clear Proofs
C.J Ahmed-06.05.2023
Using Hair Waz or Hair gel is Not Haram for a Mulim whether is is a man or woman because even the prophet (sal)used a gum similer o hair was known as talbid.
The argument tht gainst putting hair wax or hair gel to the hair is on te belief that the ablution isullified. Thisargument is baseless because in the following hadith Umm Salamah was told by the prophet (sal) to pour a few handfuls of water as she had platted her hair.
You do not need to remove the areas which are covered when taking blution and the following hadiths pove it.
(4)Ali (rali) narrated, the prophet (sal) permitted wiping over leather socks for three day and nights for the traveller, and one day and night for the resident.
(Muslim)
(5) Al-Mughirah ibn Shubah (rali) reported: "The Prophet (sal), performed ablution by wiping over non-leather socks and sandals"
(Tirmidhi graded sahih by Imam Tirmidhi)
According to the above hadiths it is permissible to wipe your socks and sandals while taking ablution and if there should not be any barrier between the skin and water then why did the prophet(sal) permit wiping over the socks? These hadiths clearly prove that there is nothing wrong in taking ablution by having a barrier.
The prophet (sal) not only did he wipe over his socks, he wiped over his shoes too while performing ablution.
(6) Narrated by Aws ibn Abu Aws ath-Thaqafi (rali),
"The prophet (sal) performed ablution and wiped over his shoes and feet."
Abbad (a sub-narrator) said: The Messenger of Allah (sal) came to the well of a people. Musaddad did not mention the words Midat (a place where ablution is performed), and Kazamah (well). Then both agreed on the wording: “He performed ablution and wiped over his shoes and feet."
(Abu Dawud-graded sahih by Albani)
(7) Ali (rali) narrated,
"If the religion were based on opinion, it would be more important to wipe the under part of the shoe than the upper but I have seen the Messenger of Allah (sal) wiping over the upper part of his shoes."
(Abu Dawud-graded Sahih by Albani)
