Why Ghusl Is Not Required After Touching Private Parts with 3 Proofs
C.J Ahmed-20.04.2023
Ghusl is not required is your touch your private parts.Even wudu is not required after touching your prvate parts.
The correct view I that touching your private parts accidentally or deliberately won’t break your wudu and the below hadith clearly proves this,
Some try to argue that this hadith is abrogated but there is no valid proof from the authentic hadiths which states that the prophet (sal) abrogated it.
If you only emit semen does ghusl become obligatory and if there is no emission of emen, then ghusl does not become a must.
Still Ghusl can be avaided if there is a necessity or if you fear that ghusl could harm you and in that case, Tayammum is preferred.
Amr Ibn al-‘Aas (Rali) said:
I experienced a wet dream on a cold night during the campaign of Dhaat al-Salaasil, and I was afraid that if I did Ghusl I would die, so I did tayammum, then I prayed Fajr with my
companions. They mentioned that to the Prophet (Sal) and he said: “O ‘Amr, did you lead your companions in prayer when you were Junub?” I told him what had kept me from doing Ghusl and I said: “I heard Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allaah is Most Merciful to
you’ [al-Nisa’ 4:29].” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
smiled and did not say anything.
